In 2003 The Goat was awarded the International Award of Broadcasting Excellence by the National Association of Broadcasters (the industry trade association in the United States)...a first for a commercial Canadian radio station!
In 2008, The Goat received the same award, making the station the first worldwide to be a repeat winner.
The Goat has a sister station based in Bonnyville, AB at 99.7FM.
