This confident, energetic, empathetic and professional individual is passionate about supporting women who are experiencing the impacts of family violence. Providing emotional support, information, referrals and practical support to those that access our program will be the mainstay of this role, but advocating for women experiencing individual and systemic barriers is also something you are confident in doing. A post-secondary education in human services is required and an understanding of the cycle of violence and abuse, homelessness, addiction, trauma and available community resources is ideal.
