Draftsperson

Beaver Homes and Cottages is seeking an experienced Draftsperson to join our expert team, delivering a range of unique homes to our customers.

Working from Home Hardware Building Centre Lloydminster and on site at the BHC lot. Serving all of Western Canada, our BHC division builds multiple homes at one time specializing in RTM, turnkey and materials packages, fully customized and specifically designed for our customers needs.

Beaver Homes and Cottages is looking for a creative and driven draftsperson to assist in customizing our existing database of homes while also working on new projects with the Beaver Homes and Cottages sales and design team and Home Hardware Lumber Desk team.

What We Want:

- Experience with residential drafting, proficient with reading and creating architectural drawings. Fluent in Revitt.

- Diploma or degree from recognized institution

-Proficient with design software, capable of making technical drawings

-Capable of inspecting drawings for errors or complications

-Develop and prepare design sketches

- Team player, working with both in store staff, trades, and designers while also being self motivated to work independently

- Keen organization and the ability to multitask and work on multiple projects

- A strong knowledge of new home construction, Alberta and National building and energy codes

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday working from the Home Hardware Building Centre location.
