Accounting Technician

Location: Lloydminster, Alberta working in the Heavy Crude Hauling office

Position: Accounting Technician – Full Time Responsibilities • Supports and handles technical accounting duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment applications and credit collections • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards • Collaborating with other departments to resolve accounting issues • Assist with reconciliations, journal entries and other month-end duties

Qualifications • Currently holding or actively pursuing an Accounting Degree and/or CPA Designation • 5* years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with priorities and strict deadlines • Capable of working independently and collaboratively with administration, operations and management teams • Must be a Canadian citizen
