Accountant

KSK Business Services Professional Corporation, CPA is a full service accounting firm with a focus on providing personal and convenient services to small business and individual clients. As a small team, we will work closely together to assist clients with compliance responsibilities, along with meeting their business and personal financial goals. The hourly position offers up to 32 hours per week with the opportunity for extended time off in July and August and school holidays. We are closed the last two weeks of December. Flexible days and hours will be considered. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in completion of tax and accounting engagements, financial statement preparation and year-end tax forms. Meet with potential clients and set up files for new clients. Manage and review bookkeeping and payroll in QuickBooks Online for a wide variety of businesses and organizations. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 5+ years relevant experience Proficient in accounting software (CaseWare Working Papers, Taxprep, Doc.It Suite, CCH iFirm and QuickBooks Online). Strong accounting and tax skills and knowledge. Experience with other accounting, tax and bookkeeping platforms will be considered an asset.
